A grassroots political group is making a stand against money in politics with a little theatre.
The Lehigh Valley Coffee Party celebrated a mock wedding between a person and a "corporation" at Croc Rock in Allentown Monday.
The group is demonstrating against the power of money in politics and that corporations are people.
Specifically they're against the recent Supreme Court ruling that says the government cannot limit political spending by corporations.
Organizers say they want to remind people they still have a voice.
"They have power over what goes on in their community and what goes on in their country and we can develop a great mass movement that really accomplish something," said Coffee party organizer Bob Trotner.
This group bills itself as non-partisan.
It's part of a nationwide coffee group that's pushing for civility, reform and accountability in government.
If you'd like to get involved you can check out the group's Facebook page.
