Last Sunday was a monumental day in our household. We left Vivien with a babysitter for the first time, ever. It was our second wedding anniversary, and we decided to go to a place right down the road from us.
We went to a place called Movie Tavern. They have current movies, but inside the theater, there are tables and a bar area. Before the movie, servers come and take your dinner and drink order.
I ordered one of their?specialty?drinks ? the blue margarita.
We ordered an?appetizer, and also a meal. The actual main course food was ?meh? but the appetizer was really good. We went and saw Paranormal Activity 4. The movie was kind of bad. We like that series, but #4 seemed like a stretch, and left lots of questions and untied ends. Once we got out of the movie, we decided to go to my local favorite brewery to watch a bit of the Broncos vs. Saints game.
My favorite beer, Apricot Gold.?
We headed home around 8pm, and got the added bonus of hanging out with the ?babysitter? until later that night?(she is a friend of ours.)
All in all, it was a great night. It felt different not having Vivien around, though I know that nurturing our?marital?relationship with date nights out is very important.
How often do you go out on date nights??
